MCT Nieuwsbrief mei 2014

nieuwsbrief Steffen Moritz en team mei 2014

Dear colleagues*,

MCT for psychosis Edition 5.0 is out. We have introduced some small (e.g. new logo) as well as some more significant changes (e.g. a chart with group rules that should be displayed during sessions) to MCT. Some new slides are intended to strengthen connections to patients’ own symptoms and application to daily life. You can obtain the new modules in 31 languages at no cost via www.uke.de/mct (Western Europe/America) or www.uke.de/ mct2 (Eastern Europe, Asia). The modules now also refer to a collection of videos that demonstrate relevant cognitive biases (see www.uke.de/ mct_videos). You can download the treatment manual via http://www.unipark.de/uc/hh_uni_psych_inst_LJ/72d8/

Meanwhile, a number of studies have been published on MCT (including in JAMA Psychiatry (in press) and Schizophrenia Research (2013)), which are summarized in the attached review (Clinical Psychology Review). For our programs on depression, borderline and OCD please visit www.uke.de/depression www.uke.de/borderline and www.uke.de/mymct .

Thank you for your interest. If you like what we are doing, please consider a donation (see www.uke.de/mct for more information) so that MCT can remain non-commercial.

Warm greetings,

Steffen Moritz & team
